It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, fiancee, granddaughter, sister, auntie, niece and friend. Tannis Louise Allison passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Chilliwack General Hospital on January 30th ,2012. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Makaila Messenger, her fiancé Clayton Van Alstyne, mother and stepfather Janet and Jim Macleod, father and stepmother Ken and Evelynn, sister Delilah (Sukh) Romana, sister Darla Kinaschuk, sister Kendra Arsenault and many other family members and friends will sadly miss her. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 11th at 1 pm at the Aldergrove Legion, 26607 Fraser Hwy, Aldergrove. Another service will be planned for a later date in Kamloops. I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Tannis. I had gotten to know her the past few months with Makaila being in my class. She would often walk Makaila to the classroom door and tell her she loved her before leaving. My deepest sympathies to the family of Tannis and in particular, Makaila, who my heart goes out to with the loss of her mother at a far, far too young age.
