Tribute
Our beloved Macleod Tanner (nee James Harry Watson) completed his earthly journey on December 31, 2010. His loving family, friends and caregivers are blessed and grateful that Macleod wove his magic into their hearts and lives as he traveled through life. We feel him with us knowing that “nothing loved is ever lost” and it is only our sadness that can truly pass away.
Throughout the Lower Mainland, Macleod (Jim) also wove his magic in such places as ”The Lagoons” at False Creek and ”The Wall” at Belcarra Park as owner and operator of two construction companies. He leaves a lasting legacy both in the hearts and minds of those who knew him as well as the thousands of businesses, homeowners and public that have and continue to benefit from the integrity of his work and craftsmanship.
Macleod was looking forward to completing one more course so that he could serve as a volunteer with the Chilliwack Hospice Society. In lieu of flowers, donations in Macleod”s memory may be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society or charity of your choice.
Throughout his long illness family and friends and a treasured caregiver rallied around Macleod and Jenafor providing a loving, supportive and highly valued network. Macleod”s passing has done naught but strengthen these impermeable bonds. Macleod, we feel your love emanating from outside of time and space as we continue to grow and to heal our sorrow.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
