William George Will

Tribute

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Will at the age of 96 yrs.
William George Will was born in Vancouver B.C. He left home in January 1944 to enlist in the army at age 16 as a Boy Soldier. Here George began a career that spanned 30 years, beginning as a paratrooper and eventually becoming a Royal Canadian Engineer. After retiring from the army, he finished his work career with Corrections Canada.
Throughout his life George was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports. George got the most enjoyment being surrounded by family. He is survived by his son Kevin (Bernice), grandsons Adam and Eric, sister Shirley and many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his wife Mavis, daughter Jo-Anne, sisters Pat, Marg, Dot, Maude, Sandy and brothers Bud and Jack.
George will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
