From: Wiebe and Jeske Funeral Home

Wiebe and Jeske Funeral Home Staff send our condolences to family and friends.

From: Jake and Mary Geddert
Relation: We are Christian friends of Walter.

We send our deepest condolences to Walter’s family.
We feel close to you all because of our years of friendship with Walter.
A strong bond of love developed soon after we met Walter.
Together with Kay, they welcomed us into their home and into their hearts.
A care group soon formed and we met regularly for a number of years.
We prayed together for each other and for our families. They loved their family.
They blessed our lives with generous hospitality over the years.
Walter loved reading his Bible. He had made a decision to follow Jesus years earlier and the Scriptures were his guide for all of life. His love for God showed in how he related to others. He was a man of integrity.
Walter lived to serve others. He and a friend shingled a roof for our son’s house one one occasion.
He and Kay were active participants in SOWERS. They spent months working at Camp Stillwood. They also worked in Washington at a ranch where troubled youth were helped to redirect their lives. These are just a few of their service activities.
We are so thankful that God brought our lives together with Walter and Kay.
We miss them deeply. But we are thankful that they are in heaven with Jesus.
They loved Him in life and He loved them to the end.
We pray that as you grieve, you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit and by precious
memories.
