Susan and Robert Robson
Date of Death: April 12, 2021
Tribute
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of both of our parents.
Susan Helen Robson (nee Ordog) died unexpectedly April 12, 2021, ten days before her 75th birthday (April 22, 1946).
Robert Charles Robson died 12 days later on April 24, 2021 at the age of 86 (November 23, 1934).
They had a long and full life together as July 17th, 2021 would have been their 50th wedding anniversary. Their focus in life was their family.
They are survived by their children Sherry (Ron), David (Gianpaolo), Rob (Toni), Sandra (Rich), Tammy, Mike (Sandra), their grandchildren Erin, Erica, Jayden, Richard, Lee-Ann, Steven, Lucas, Jacob, Grace, Emily, and several great grandchildren.
Susan was pre-deceased by her parents, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one sister and one brother.
Robert was pre-deceased by his parents and one sister. He is survived by three sisters and one brother.
Susan worked for over 29 years at Prospera Credit Union (formerly Fraser Valley Credit Union) in Mission. She also worked several years at Beaver Lumber, Acme Machine Shop and the Medical Group.
Robert worked for the District of Mission where he operated a variety of heavy machinery and was a foreman. He also worked for Canon Contracting, Canfor as a logger, The Co-op, drove oil truck and a multitude of other jobs.
Mom and Dad enjoyed their Monday golf dates at Cheam. Dad liked to hunt, fish, make bird houses and take the dogs for a walk on the dyke. Mom liked to play bingo, mod podge and crochet as well as her trips to Reno. Their 2009 cruise to Alaska was a much loved and remembered family trip. These are among the memories we will always treasure and carry with us.
They both left us too soon and will be greatly missed by everyone, including their loving cat AJ and dog Annie. We are happy they are together once again with their beloved cat Casey and all their other furry kids that have crossed the rainbow bridge.
In respect to their great love and commitment to all their furry kids, in lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the BC SPCA or SAINTS (Senior Animals In Need Today Society) in Mission.

I remember going hunting with my grandpa alot when I was younger. This one time we were walking across a field that had quite a few cows. As we were walking the cows ran over to me and circled me, must have been around 15-20 cows all looking down on me, I was scared still. Grandpa came walking to me and as he was, he was waving an orange mesh bag and hitting the cows on the butt with it all the while yelling and swearing at the cows to “GET THE **** AWAY FROM STEVIE!”
Grandpa and grandmas house was always warm and welcoming. I will always love them and miss them deeply.

I remember Susan’s mom and dad’s home on Cedar Valley. The whole family was part of my childhood as Susan’s parents and my parents were the best of friends. I remember picking raspberries on their farm. I send condolences and great memories from the Chesnick family.
