Tribute
Our special Sarah has left our lives. Sarah was born April 10, 1917 in Miszonow, Poland and passed away October 16, 2011 in Vancouver, BC. Her family moved to France when she was only a baby and Sarah grew up there in Alsace-Lorraine and later in Toulouse. She experienced the horrors of WWII and in 1944 moved to Montreal with her husband Jacques. They later moved to the United States and after 10 years there retired in Delray Beach, Florida where she and Jacques spent 15 wonderful years together. Sarah is lovingly remembered by her son David and daughter Laura; her five grandchildren : Elena, Noah, Daniel, Rosie and Robin; and her great grandchild Ella. She is also survived by her brothers Jacques in France and Arnold in Israel. She was predeceased by her husband Jacques; parents Israel and Helene; and sisters Ada, Yette, and Annette. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Yaletown House in Vancouver, BC.
