Margaret Magdalena Retzlaff, 96, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 7, 2020 in Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She was born on May 9, 1923 in Hilda, Alberta to John and Elisabeth Ackerman. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Victor and daughter Kathy Retzlaff Phillips (Michael) of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by grandchildren Lisa Moore (Sean), Kimberly Hildebrand (Mike), Jodi Olivier, John Phillips (Lucy), Andrew Phillips, and Meaghan Phillips. Great Grandchildren Josh Retzlaff, Cody Retzlaff, Damien Moore, Jayden Moore, Addison Moore, Abby Hildebrand, Maiya Hildebrand, Genevieve Phillips, and Audrey Phillips. She was predeceased by her son Garry Retzlaff and daughter Donna Friesen, parents John and Elisabeth Ackerman, brothers Walter Ackerman, Emil Ackerman, Reinhold Hergenhein, Fred Ackerman, LeRoy Ackerman, sisters Helen Stein, Edna Smith, Noreen Cuciz, and Ann Duchak. Margaret was a long time member of Central Heights Church. A Memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

Uncle Vic, Kathy and Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Auntie Marg. It has been a long while since I have seen your family but I have wonderful memories of the visits you made to Calgary over the years. My deepest condolences to you all. I know this is a very difficult time but please find peace in the loving memories that you hold dear to your heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
