Jessie Agnes Dyck
February 10, 1934 - July 29, 2023
Tribute
Jessie Dyck passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023 in Menno Home, Abbotsford. She was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan and grew up in Yarrow, BC, completed her schooling in Chilliwack and went on to earn a certificate in book keeping. The bulk of her working years were with Elk Creek Waterworks, latterly the City of Chilliwack Waterworks where she became the billing account manager.
Well into retirement she developed early onset dementia that progressed significantly, ultimately resulting in admission to fulltime care in Menno Home where she spent her final years.
She was predeceased by her parents and all six siblings, leaving to mourn nieces and nephews and other extended family.
She will be remembered as a gracious, kind and loving aunt, always supportive and interested in the ever evolving, growing family network of the next generation.
Much gratitude and appreciation is extended to the varied staff at Menno Apartments, Menno Hospital and Menno Home who attended to her growing complex needs with diligence and compassion.
Private family burial.
