James Williamson
August 21, 1938 - December 17, 2013
Tribute
Jim was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan August 21st, 1938 and passed away the evening of December 17th, 2013 at Hogg Pavilion in White Rock BC. Jim is predeceased by wife Barbara and parents James and Molly. He is survived by his sister Audrey and numerous in-laws. At the age of 4 Jim and the family moved to Vancouver. After finishing school Jim spent the first 5 years in the broadcast industry. He then left the radio to join Canadian Airlines where he retired after 30 plus years in management of the maintenance department. Jim met wonderful people and had great stories about the film industry as throughout his working career he did work in the film industry doing commercials and training videos. Jim enjoyed his private pilot’s licence, golf, great and varied music, playing his trumpet, a good bottle of Scotch and on special occasions Remie Marten. He will be missed by his family, many friends and especially his long time friend Chuck Reelie. In the last few years with compromised health, Jim would want to give special thanks to the caregivers at Al Hogg Pavilion and to Ruth-Anne Harper. A celebration of Jim's life will be held in the Spring.

My condolences to the family. I remember Jim’s warm smile and have fond memories of times spent with him and Barb, usually after a golf game that he and my late husband, Mickey, played. God Bless
