Erna Unger (Penner)

Erna passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital aged 87 years. Erna was born the 8th of 10 children on April 15, 1936 in Fernheim, Paraguay. She married Franz Unger on June 30, 1956.
Erna is survived by her husband Franz; children Helmar and Joy Unger, Manfred and Manuela Unger, Ed and Vicky Unger, Hart Unger, Fred and Tina Unger and Evelyn Kliewer; as well as 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
We are holding a Celebration of her life on Thursday, September 14 at 11 o’clock at Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
