Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, father, stepfather and grandfather. Donald Gordon (Gord) McCallum after a long and heroic battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Donald and his brother, Scott. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (nee Shanks), brother Sean, stepchildren Wendy (Chad), Brian (Julie), Dan, son Morgan and grandchildren Riley, Lauren, Addison and Nolan. Gord will be remembered for his strong work ethic especially during his career with Canada Safeway, passion for music, enjoyment of golf and love of dogs. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2:00-3:00pm at the Murrayville Community Hall (21667 48 Ave., Langley). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gord’s honour either to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC or to BC Diabetes.
