Dale Israel
October 13, 1953 - July 21, 2013
Tribute
passed away peacefully on July 21,2013 at the age of 59, with family by his side at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
He was the son of Cliff and Muriel Israel of Mount Lehman and is lovingly remembered by sisters Lillian (Ron) Janzen of Chase, Shirley (John) Anning of Abbotsford and Sharon (Herb) Stoik and family of Barhead AB. Uncle Dale will be missed by his nephews and niece, Cam (Michelle) Janzen, Dean Janzen (Crystal), Scott (Jessica) Janzen, Jennifer (Chris) Cafrine, Nicholas Anning, as well as his great nieces and nephews. Dale is survived by his Aunt Una (Owen) Dupre of Summerland and was also close to many cousins. A special thank you to cousin Janet for her daily visits.
A memorial service celebrating Dale’s life will be held at Mount Lehman United Church on Mount Lehman Road on Thursday August 1, 2013 at 1pm with a tea to follow at Anavet Club on McNeil Road.

To Dales Family . I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. I will miss Dale. Dale and I started in grade One and thru High school. It was always a pleasure to meet Dale where ever it was. On the end of Satchel where you used to live , at the many Parties and Zoos(What we called a really good party in the 70s)The last time I met Dale I was heading home and I stopped at a fruit stand in Yarrow.A voice called my name behind me and before I turned around I knew it was Dale. He have very unique voice . One I will never forget..

I am sending my deepest sympathy to Dales family and friends. Dale and I date back to 1968, remembering just sitting on the front lawn, just sitting because Dale never talked a lot. It makes me sad to know that he died. Remembering the time he stopped the spraying in our area because it was harming the little birds that lived in the bushes. The time he spent in the hospital after his accident, so young. I think of the many times our paths crossed throughout the years.
