He will be dearly missed by his 4 children, Brenda Scott, Norma Harvey, Jack Scott, Charlene Harvey, and their families, as well as his 2 sisters, Pauline (Charlie) Hughes, and Ethel Michaloski. He was a wonderful Grandpa to his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He worked at BC Hydro for 36 years, was an avid gardener and friend to everyone he met. Charlene, Jack, Norma, Brenda and families: I’m sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. The world will definitely be a less entertaining place without his sassy, social self. In sympathy, Sandy and Brad

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Charlie. We made many visits to the Chateau and Charlie was always there to say hi and have a chat. He was always so friendly and funny to talk to. Our condolences to Charlies family during this difficult time. RIP Charlie.

Condolences to the family……
We met Charlie quite a few years ago at the Chateau while visiting our Mom. Charlie always greeted us sitting in his usual chair with a wave and smile on his face. We always enjoyed our chats. Miss seeing him <3

Relation: Friend and Neighbour
I met Charlie when he made daily visits to care for Elsie at MMH. His dedication and love was so inspiring. And then I realized we were new neighbours on Copper and he was The Charlie from the Block. He always knew the latest goings on and sat on his porch ready with a smile, wave, and chat as I walked by. I’ve missed his drop bys, his humour, and gently teasing since he moved. My sincere condolences to his family.
