Marge’s main commitment was her devotion to her family. She loved nothing better than to being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and enjoyed nurturing and loving on her family.
Marge had the “gift of helps” that touched many peoples lives. She took care of so many people’s children including people from the extended family, church, ministry and many other connections. She would care for these children as if they were her own making it possible for people to go on weekends away, or other important events. Marge helped those that were going through hardships by bringing pots of soup, casseroles, and goodies. She loved to greet any newcomers to the area with meals and baked goods. She always liked to welcome any new babies with a showering of gifts.
In 1975, after supporting her husband Len through a 20-year teaching career including 19 years in Manitoba and 1 year in Nova Scotia, the whole family moved to Abbotsford area to join a Christian ministry called “Campus Crusade for Christ,” now known as “Power to Change”. Marge’s involvement in the ministry included: ladies ministries, discipleship training, and being on 7 International Jesus Film Projects including: Mexico (4), Guatemala, Bolivia, and Cameroon. Marge supported Len through 45 years of being on staff with the ministry.

So sorry to have heard of the passing of Aunt Marge. The ‘Porridge Pot Cafe’ lost one of the two founding members. We really enjoyed the few days that we as MB Neufelds were able to spend with Aunt Marge & Uncle Leonard a few years back. Age has changed the bodies, but like a fine wine the ‘personalities’ aged much better. Aunt Marge’s desire to be a great hostess was always evident and she will be truly missed
