Tribute
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Gerry at Holmberg House Hospice in Abbotsford, BC, after a courageous battle with cancer and ALS.
She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Delia Logan, husband Dave Bounds, daughter Shelley Bounds, sister Grace Logan, brothers David and wife Lisa Logan, Robert Logan and Wally Logan.
She is survived by her loving partner and soul mate, Danny Garinger, daughter Shelly ( Russ Dalueg), sons Robert Bounds and Darren Bounds (Sandra); grandchildren Brandon Bounds, Brian Bounds, April (Michael Terway) , Falicia (Steve McTavish), Theresa Dalueg, and Dylan Dalueg; great grandchildren Scottie Terway and Harvey McTavish. Gerry also leaves to mourn siblings Priscilla (Frank McDonald), Doreen (Art Lewis), Bunny Logan-May, Norman (Jeannette) Logan, Linda (Bert Schellenberg), Pearl (Jim Murphy) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the ALS Society of BC, Fraser Valley Community Care and Holmberg House Hospice Staff for their excellent care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at North Oaks Manor, 3006 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford BC Saturday July 23, 2016 from 1:30 – 5pm. RSVP to 780.608.7447 for dinner by July 21.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of BC, 1233 – 13351 Commerce Parkway Richmond, BC V6V 2X7.
