Elsie May McKenzie of Abbotsford, at the age of 75, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2014 at Worthington Pavilion
Elsie May McKenzie (Nice) Born August 21, 1938 in London, England to Leslie and Florence Nice. She is one of 6 children, Ron, Anne, Paul, Debbie and Linda. The Nice family boarded The Queen Elizabeth Ship, arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Christmas day, 1942
Elsie is survived by her loving husband Bob McKenzie, two sons Graham McKenzie and Scott McKenzie and daughter Kari McKenzie. Elsie is also survived by three daughter-in-law’s, Kathy McKenzie, Shelley McKenzie and Coreen Jackson in addition to son in law Jerry Schmiegel. She loves spending time with her seven grandchildren Adyson, Cole, Sarah, Skye, Cade, Genevieve and Cameron.
The Celebration of Life will be held at the Pentecostal Assembly Church, at 3145 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC on Thursday, June 5 at 11 AM, 2014. Graveside to follow
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted by the family.
