Betty Elizabeth Loewen

Tribute
Passed into the presence of her Lord on Saturday, March 26th, 2011. She was born in Weidenfeld, Manitoba in 1926 and moved to Abbotsford in 1947 to marry her sweetheart Henry, who predeceased her in 2006. She is survived by her loving family; Marilyn (Doug) Dyck and Garry (Genny) Loewen; 5 grandchildren Dwayne (Teresa), Shelly (Harold), Phil (Windy), Trevor and Sammie; as well as 9 great grandchildren Janae, Joel, Kaeli, Desiree, Kelton, Sierra, Summer, Brandon and Vienna. Besides her great love for her family she had an amazing gift of loving and encouraging everyone around her. We will miss her daily prayers for each of us. We want to thank Dr. Dueck and the nurses at Abbotsford hospital for the wonderful care they gave her. Also, we are so grateful for her caregivers at Tabor Home who truly made her feel loved. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Road, Abbotsford. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wiebeandjeskefh.com.

Goodbye dear Betty – I am so thankful that God in his infinite mercy has taken you to his side – a place where there will never be anymore pain and where you will await my arrival – I am so looking forward to seeing you again. As in life, I loved you so and working with you at Helping Hands was always such a joy, yes, and fixing your pants when they were too long was my pleasure. Be happy and soon we will all be together.
